This trench line is on the road going to Notrebe's bend park next to the dam. They're not far from Arkansas Post as the crow flies but it's a 30 minute drive from Ark. Post. You have to go thru Gillett, go to Tichner and cross the Ark. river canal and turn right to get on the road. There used to be some markers on the side of the road and a trail leading to the trenches, they're in the woods so watch for snakes. It's been 20+ years since I've been down there so who knows what it looks like now. Looking at then and now maps of the area since the river changed course and the building of the canal I believe that these trench works were on the same side of the river as Ark. Post. It's very confusing to me with the way the river has moved around.
