In reply for any information, I am sure that you are probably aware the the mustering officer for the 9th Arkansas Infantry at Pine Bluff, the Honorable John Roan, was the ex-governor of the state of Arkansas John Seldon Roane. Later Brig-Gen. John S. Roane commander of the district of Arkansas April to June 1862.
