Cravens of Clarksville was elected Col; W. G. Matheny of Evening Shade, LtCol; a man by the name of Dowdle, Major; James Martin, 1st Lt, Newt Pucket, 2nd Lt.....The old officers that did not get an office went home. I never saw McCarver again....."
