Ross,

I did find a William H. Martin in the Masonic rolls in the period of the Civil War but that's all it was is just a name. No Masonic lodge affiliation, no other specifics, so it can be any William H. Martin for that matter. Grand Lodge of F&M in Arkansas was of no assistance to me whatsoever, citing the same reasons - that the fire in early 1900s destroyed most of their records.
