Re: "Dead Angle" Mason Connection w/Arkansas Col.?

Michael,

I grew up in the Atlanta area and have studied the Atlanta Campaign for nearly 30 years and I have never before heard of a Masonic sign being used to stop the firing along Cleburne's portion of the second Kennesaw Line. Everything that I know of the event comes from the brush catching fire and Union wounded being in the way of that. Hence the cease fire for a time until those men could be moved away to safety.

Col. Martin of the 1st/15th Arkansas was given a brace of pistols for his humanitarian gesture.
