Well, Ryan, you managed to cost me $15... I followed the link and ended up purchasing a copy of the print of the 39th Miss. flag. The G-g-grandfather I'm in the SCV with also served in Sears's Brigade. 7th Mississippi Infantry Batt., Co. F. I've accounted for all of Sears's Brigade's flags but two. The 4th Miss. is in Jackson,MS, the 35th & 39th (or what's left of them) are in Minnesota, the 46th Miss. is on it's way home (much thanks to Jim Huffman). The other two units are the 36th Miss. Reg. and the 7th Miss. Batt. There is a flag in the MOC collection bearing the War Dept. #WD219 that is reported to be from Sears's brigade (captured near Nashville) and, if I recall correctly, there is an almost identical flag in the NC Historical collection with similar provenance. I figure one of them has to be the 7th Batt. and the other would be the 36th. The problem is identifying for sure which is which. (I'll probably end up with a print of the 35th, as well, before long) Thank you for providing the links.
