I like this thread and this flag. The mention of the "painted" crosses are very interesting. Does the cross with the two horizontal bars have a tilt or slant to the right on the vertical bar? This is an insignia of 33rd degree Scottish Rite Masons. My father was one. And Ken....I think you are awesome but George Pickett was killing yankees way after ALL of Louisiana was under Federal occupation. Give "some" credit where it is due.
