Makes sense that he was talking about the 3rd GA Reserves. In fact, Mr. Peacock's advertisement claimed that be participated in the Battle for Columbus on April 16, 1865. You've been a big help. Hey, if you run across anything else from members of this unit near the end of the war, please let me know. I would be very grateful. Thanks a bunch.
