Company G, 1st Reg't GA Inf. (Olmstead's)

J.H.Cassidy, with Co G Ist GA Inf.(Olmstead's) appears on a list of casualities at Fort Johnson, James Island, S.C. as killed on Aug.12,1863 - source, National Archives... With this record the archives lists J.H. Cassady and Jas. H Cassady, private, card #'s 45506743/6853. Nothing more to identify him.
Another source has James H, Cassidy (or Cassiday), as killed Aug. 12,1863 at Battery Wagner, Morris Island.

My gg grandfather, James Henry Caseday/Cassady, of TN & Dade CO GA,was killed in the Civil War, but without more info in the archive record I have no proof that the soldier killed Aug 12, 1863 is him.
Any suggestions as to where I might find more information?
Thanks,
Bette
