Sir, Thanks for the great info regarding your Carson ancestors,as it is one of the most inspiring examples of sacrifice by one family. In addition, I had been told that the Gen Gordon home had been sold to a historical group in Morrow GA which is south of Atlanta,but had not heard anything more. I wonder if the Macon Co/Taylor Co Sons of Confederacy group had been made aware of the Carson story. If you or anyone reading this post hears of the status of the Gen John B Gordon home re-assembled, please post so we can go visit the General's home. Regards, Lee
