Re: Location of surrender of 12th GA militia

My ancestor, Wiley T. Patterson, submitted a pension application stating that he surrendered in Augusta GA in April 1865. He was a member of Company A, 12th GA Regiment, Infantry Militia. His witness to service , C. C. McRae, who also served in the same company and regiment, stated the same.
