I've hit the same brick wall. Another relative has found that Thomas's father was Robert Hardee, son of Isaac Hardee, but we haven't connected all the dots, yet. Supposedly Robert died when Thomas was young, and Thomas' guardian was Sheppard Williams. We think the migration of this line was from Middlesex, Virginia, to Pitt, NC, to Bulloch Co., GA, Jones Co., NC, Brooks Co., GA, then on to Taylor Co., FL. Any hints you have would be appreciated.
