I am a friend of Jim Tillet's and intend to get active with the 19th. I knew Jim from our old days in Archer's Brigade,over 20 years ago.

I have several books on Confederate uniforms. A quick look through a couple of the books have no specific info on Co. A's 19 Ga. early uniforms. However there is an intersting photo in my copy of the Osprey Men at Arms series. (The Confederate Army 1861-65 (2) Florida,Alabama,Georia. its shows a group of officers,soldiers,(and ladies!) in camp in Georgia I presume. I will try to get a copy of this pic to you. The members in this group became part of the 19th,although it does not specify which company they were.
