Hensci - Osyio Ken,
I know the more I study the more confusing it becomes. Yes, I am familiar with the interview with Mary (Perryman) Grayson. She is the daughter of Jacob Perryman. I also have the interviews of Phoebe (McIntosh) Banks who was the daughter of William McIntosh (not the chief). These two were half brothers and the third half brother was Hector Perryman who is my great x 2 grandfather. William McIntosh had two sons, Scott Waldo McIntosh and Siegel McIntosh and that is where I got the confused idea that Una fought on the side of the North during the Civil War. All three brothers slipped away from their Indian masters and followed Opoethleyohola to Kansas. Jacob enlisted in the 1st REGIMENT INDIAN HOME GUARD and William in the 79 US Colored Infantry Company 1 as a Private-Sargent. I found no information for Hector.
