The Indian Territory in the Civil War Message Board

Re: McKittrick; 29th TX Cav. vs. 1st Choctaw-Chick

Tarlton married David's daughter after the war. David died 5/1865 cause unknown, Arkansas. David is my great great grandpa. I have a copy of his and Hariet's marriage license -- they signed it with an "x".

Oscar Taylor Richey at the above link is my great uncle.

I'd love to know what you have about David B Brown! I had heard he was in the Civil War but he is nearly impossible to find.

Joshua Allen Hawkins is also hard to find. Noah Allen Hawkins (1877-1957 -- Joshua's son) married Lona Richey (1883-1963) near Loco, Stephens Co, Ok in 1904 (then Chickasaw Nation) and they are my grandparents.

thank you!
