For general information to all who reads this posting I have spent the last year transcribing and placing into computer files the records of T. C. Hindman, to include his order books, Letter Book, his Letter's received from all his commanders various reports of strength of units etc. Only about a fourth of this material can be found in the OR supplements and that disjointed and some times incorrectly transcribed. I am awaiting Columbia's permission to publish which is forth coming through Two Trails, this will go along with Marmaduke's Papers which has very little to do with the IT. However in Hindman there are documents which are in conflict with current study on several subjects such as Albert Pike, Elias Boudinot etc. In Boudinot's case I have a few dozen letters from him to Hindman still requiring work as they are a tough transcription. By the way the micro-film this came from can also be found in the University of Arkansas Micro-film archive but to get it published we had to go to Columbia which is somewhat slow with such things as the war in the Trans-Miss.

I can send by email attachment to anyone interested various files of interest without copy right problems. The sooner this is out there the better for all who study the IT and the TMD.
