Stan Watie was under orders to escort a Capt. Lennox to get the kettles from the
Grand Saline,Bryan's,Alberty's and those in the Grand by Ft Gibson,he/others- It looks like he may also have rounded up cattle,this was just after Bird Creek,and the Creek Indians flee to Kansas event.
