The Texas Road south from Niven's passed east of Ft Davis and Bacone and the School for the Blind, crossed Coody Creek and then split with the east fork going to McClain, Brewer's Bend (John Brewer was my ggg grandfather), and Webbers Falls. And as I recall Julia McIntosh's must have been on this route.
