I am interested in the events of April 1-11, 1865, in west Alabama concerning 1st Brigade, 1st Division, Cavalry Corps, USV, commanded by Brig. General John T. Croxton and including the 4th Kentucky (Mntd) Infantry. Anyone with primary account materials (diaries, letters, memoirs) touching upon this period I would find most interesting.
