I have never actually visited the cemeteries located at the junction of Canal St. and City Park, Metairie Rd. even though I have lived here most of my adult life. There are many Civil War heroes buried in those locations, Greenwood has at least three Generals, including one Union General (Benton) and Confederate Generals Moody and Scott.
Since I have been remiss in not actually visiting those areas, I will make an attempt over the holidays and take a few pictures. If I do I will email pictures to you.
