The unit you are referring to seems to be the 2nd Louisiana Battalion Heavy Artillery, commanded by Lt. Colonel George W. Logan. Captain Daniel Scully commanded Company A, there was no Company K. My source for this information is Dr. Arthur W. Bergeron's book, "Guide to Louisiana Confederate Military Units 1861-1865." Dr. Bergeron's book will provide you with the unit history of the battalion, and it can be purchased through this message board. I own a copy, and I can assure you it is well worth the purchase price for the amount of information provided on La. Conf. Units. Hope this helps.
