Here is the statement from the NPS site.

"Hutton's Company, Louisiana Artillery (Crescent Artillery Company A)
Crescent Light Artillery was organized in the summer of 1863 and mustered into Confederate service at Alexandria, Louisiana. Most of the officers and men had served in the Crescent Infantry Regiment."

They don't footnote the statement however, so I have no idea where they got their information. Notice the 1863 organization date that is obviously wrong. Maybe they got Hutton's confused with Holme's Battery? But that still doesn't fit the organization date and location.
