How do I get a copy to validate this info? Is your source the CSRC index? From what source do I request the film no. and roll no. to obtain a hard copy? Does any of this information have his parents names (my gr gr grandparents)? I have a copy of a company muster roll from "footnote" but I am not sure if it is the correct Robert Smith. It states he deserted which I am pretty positive he didn't because he was held as a POW. This is the first time I've learned of Marion Rangers. Can you tell me more about the Rangers? I am beginning to read alot about the CW and it was such a tragic war. Of course they are all tragic for so many.
