Thanks Don Parker for your time and effort to assist me. I have seen him on ancestry, but don't have his parents name or his service records. I will look into the resources you sent me, thank so much for them. I am still confused about the film no and roll. Do I need to send those in when I request a copy of his CSR? I don't think he deserted unless he told an untruth to family...One never knows what goes on...Thanx, Sharon
