Worldcat says that LSU Shreveport has a copy, http://www.worldcat.org/title/diary-of-1st-sergeant-hn-connor/oclc/40565399&referer=brief_results , but it is described as a typescript of 48 pages. I would agree that it was not actually published as a book.
