To continue, I never met Mr. Block and did not know of the transcription until I happened across it (w/photo) of H.N. Conner on the internet. Yes the diary is real and the transcription is quite accurate. The attribution of ownership was incorrect. The last time I had the diary in my hands was about 15 years ago, it really is a remarkable document.
