In response about the diary, Haskell Monroe had seen the diary and had it in his possession I think in the 60s. It was Loaned to him by my mother who was a friend of his and also a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bryan, TX H. N. Conner was her Grandfather. She died Feb 1, 2011. The handwritten copy is in the hands of another descendent. I remember that there are the words to a Texas related song pasted inside the front cover.
