Where was Sabineville? I don't know if it was in Texas or Louisiana, but judging from the article in "Official Records of the Rebellion", it seems to be on the Texas side of the river. I am searching the route of Woods' 36th Texas Cavalry as it left for the Red River Campaign, arriving to fight at Blair's Landing on 12 April 1864.
