I did the google search and found the Robert Thomas Williams diary. Thank you! I also found the route mentioned in "Giesecke's Civil War Diary", by Captain Julius Giesecke of Company G of Sibley's Brigrade. Charles Patrick (Manor, Texas) sold me a soft bound copy in 1999, but I believe he has since passed on. There may be other ways of getting the Giesecke diary.
