Lynn,

I have to correct the information that states the unit was mustered out on 4/1/1865. (See Below) First, the 19th LA was enlisted into Confederate service on December 11, 1861 with the exception of Co. K which was added on December 15. Also, the 19th LA Infantry did not surrender until May 6, 1865 and was paroled on May 10, 1865 at Cuba Station, AL. They fought a battle at Spanish Fort, AL on April 8, 1865. That being said, I will be glad to look through my materials I have collected for a book on that unit for additinal information on him. Please feel free to contact me at through the link below as I would like to include any genealogical information you may have gathered on him.
