Bush Smith (Anderson?) of Texas.

I am trying to locate any information I can find on Bush Smith (Anderson) of Sherman, Texas (Grayson County). She allegedly married Bloody Bill Anderson in Sherman either during Christmas week of 1863 or March 2 or 3 of 1864. The details I am seeking has to do with any records or writings about her life either before or after Bloody Bill was supposedly killed in Missouri in October of 1864. Several sources that I have read say that, after the battle in which Anderson was killed, many of Anderson's men retired to Texas for the winter of 1864. It seems to me that there would be some records relating that at least some of those men would have delivered the news of her husband's death to Bush Smith Anderson but I have yet to find anything of that nature. It seems that there would be some family or other verification of her life other than the sketchy and often contradictory information I have read about her marriage to Bill Anderson.
I posted the above message on the Texas Civil War Message Board several days ago but have learned nothing new about her life. Today, I was going back through my notes on Bloody Bill and I discovered a passage from the website listed below this message which says: "March 2, 1864 - Bloody Bill married Bush Smith, a young girl from Sherman, Texas....Moved to a small farmhouse in Ray County, Missouri." It is very hard for me to believe that Bill Anderson would move anyone he loved into a state where the Federals were tormenting and imprisoning family members and loved ones of guerrillas and where Anderson had just lost his sister, Josephine, and had his other sister seriously injured when the building in which they were being held captive collapsed just a few months earlier. But, since I have learned nothing about Bush Smith's life either before or after their marriage, this Ray County angle is certainly worth checking into.
