Don, wasn't the senior Mr. James' middle name Sallee? This search started in Phelps County. After Bushwhacker Bill Wilson went to Texas, and was reportedly killed there, his widow married a neighbor by the name of John J Jackson. John J Jackson's mother was Jenney Sallee. I don't think they were married long. The kicker is that I am pretty sure that John J Jackson's mother was William Sallee's sister.....Jim
