Is it possible that Jacob Diel who died Sept 1 1864 was killed in this action? He served in the civil war in missouri and his home with wife Johanna was near Pilot Grove/Boonville area. Please direct me to a listing of units that were in this action and also perhaps soldiers in those units. This is fairly new to me so am not sure where to look. Kathy
