I think the 26 number comes from the pow's in Kirksville...........the confusion is amoung all the second hand stuff as Bruce mentions.......these yank officers ( reb too) were so into what they were doing and all the medals they'll get for doing so........a terrible habit man has to glorify his misdeeds for a earthy reward.........something never change do they..........thanks for all the help guys..........lots of holes in this history we try to understand how they could have done this to one another.......Neil
