Re: Lieut. R. L. Wood, of Bledsoe's Battery

Looked at every scrap of info in RL Wood CSR. Noted an age and nativity. Scoured the 1850 and 1860 census reports for R Wood
from Virginia living in Missouri. Came up with Rice L Wood in Randolph Co. Tried to tie him directly but not until the history from Albion Co Idaho could I confirm it. The history is verified by comparison to prior known primary source info from census reports and the CSR regarding his captaincy and functional command of Bledsoe's battery as spoken of in the OR and his CSR.
