I was surprised to find Johnson county's census data transcribed and available online. For most counties I don't find this much. However, I'm not experienced in digging through the raw census info.

Looking at another site, it looks like some of the transcription files have been left out of the one compilation I gave earlier in the thread: the gap I mentioned, then another 8-900 or so households at the end. I can sort through http://us-census.org/pub/usgenweb/census/mo/johnson/1860/ and see the missing pages transcribed by Cheryl Sears, also pages that should be at the end but were omitted. Doesn't include slave schedule. I still don't see Tracy in the index.
