Re: Confederate pension and burial place

According to the book about the 1850 census and the people in it, "Yalobusha Bound" by Chris B Morgan;
William T Williams 27 b Miss and Francis A Droke 15 b Miss were in household 473 and were married in Yalobusha County Nov 1, 1849. Its my guess that she was not from Yalobusha County because there is no one else in the census with her last name, unless she was living in a household with someone with a different last name, maybe a remarried mother.

I had kin in the 29th Mississippi Infantry, Fishing Creek Avengers, the company was raised in what is now Calhoun County and was named for a Battle that occurred in Kentucky, Dec 31, 1861, where several Yalobusha units, especially the 15th had many casualties.

I found one of my ancestors who was killed in that area and time frame buried in the Confederate Cemetery in Chattanooga. Its online but I can't for the life of me remember the website. Might try a Google.
