I found a website that lists the known soldiers buried in the Oakland Cemetery. It is www.sos.state.ga.us/archives.
The burials began in February of l862. There is a W. J. Williams, 28th Miss.Reg.Co. G. that was buried on February 5th, but I think it was l864. There is Will Williams but he is in the 41st Regiment Co. F. This is a great site. It lists all of the records of the hospitals in Atlanta and the names in Oakland. Jeri
