Hello. Thanks a bunch. You are very kind.
To be honest, I am not at this time looking for anything in particular.
I was just wanting to scan it and see what I could find.
What I was really wanting to do is to see if I could find any men from the 8th Arkansas CSA Inf. or the possibly the 36th CSA. The 8th Arkansas went east early on. The 36th was fought at Helena on July 4, 1863, I think it was, and that is where my great grandmother's uncle was captured. The family thought he was dead a long time apparently before he actually died as he was listed still alive in something I got hold of when the war ended, but he never came home.
That is a wonderful project that Gale Red is doing and I feel sure many people will appreciate it.
Your information is also greatly appreciated.
