Re: Grandfathers in the Civil War

I visited the Hezekiah Slade Cemetery in Lamar County where the memorial markers are last summer. At that time is was grown up with trees, bushes, and briers. Is there anyone out there who can help us maintain this site, if its not been done since last summer? The Slades are an old and respected family in Lamar County and since Mr. Leonard passed away the cemetery is all but forgotten. This piece of history doesn't need to be forgotten.
