Wow! 30th Illinois ... my real passion is the Battle of Raymond, and that's one of the few units in Logan's brigade that saw almost no action.

Do you have any first-hand accounts of the Battle of Raymond? I suppose I doubt there are many due to the fact that they were sitting tight for most of the battle, but every little story adds something to the overall picture.
