Alan thanks for your reply-sure could be him-if it is it will change a lot of family history-I found at footnote,com[film from Natl, archives] a G. W, Brown that was admitted to hospital at Savanna, Ga. According to D. Rowling account this was 24th first command-I think I will need to do some footwork to solve this-if you find other info please let me know-will keep you informed of my progress-if I can be of any help to anyone let me know.
