I have been unable to find any Confederate records for your Alfred F. Cooley

River, from the Steamer Minnehaha, at Greenville, Miss., Dec. 31, 1862, entirely destitute of rations, bedding, etc.," dated January 2, 1863, recorded on the Jan & Feb, 1863 muster roll as absent, prisoner, POW forwarded to Cairo, Ill.**, n.d., recorded on the Jan & Feb, 1864 as absent without leave since December 15, 1862, Nancy Cooley, widow of L. B. Cooley, filed claim for his pay and allowances May 30, 1863, Jasper[?] County, Miss., no further records
