After re reading what u posted, There is no record of littleberrys death, he was shipped to cairo Illinois, an never seen or heard from again. I have myself a riddle to solve here. The littleberry in LA in hopewell Cemetery, is listed as born in 1823. from Jasper county MS the same county His wife applied for pension.

The berry cooley u listed by little berry i can find no record of other than family trees with birth date 1838. I wonder did lb cooley desert, an live through the war, or if they are one in the same man. Would You Please relook and see if the ages are listed for LB Cooley, And Berry Cooley see below i copied an pasted the 2 cooleys u posted in the list of cooleys
