george, you had as seen in the above post of yours on harbard cooley, listed albert f cooley as being captured an swore alleginace to the union. see the above older post of yours on harabrd cooley. there seems to be some confusion as to lb "littleberry" cooley in the cooley genology. one born 1823 and mine is listed as being born 1838. the fact that no civil war grave for littleberry can be found adds to the confusion. THe other littleberry was said to have served the waar as well, an is burried in LA in hopewell cemetery. see trees have a littleberry cooley as son of harbard, an some have berry cooley. but i believe i may have solved the riddle, there were 2, berry and littleberry.im digging on this subject of two berry cooleys now. harbard may have had as many as 6 sons who served in the war. albert f cooley is my 4th great grandfather. Do you have any info on towner b boutwell sgt 46th MS infantry? i have yet to locate his grave. he is also a grandfather. him an 2 brothers served the 46th daniel who it was said served the last year of the war as a yank, and i believe a albert. those 2 are burried in wayne county MS but i have yet to locate towner b gravesite. I wonder george what the record is for sons of one man who fought for dixie, as ol harbard gave all he had to the southern cause
