Ha, Ha, I thought so...I'm writing a paper On Captain Tim Lyons of the 3rd TN Mounted USA and John Kirkland of the 3rd TN Mounted CSA. Just can't get it done...lol. Good to see ya again. I've been posting mostly on the TN Board. I also had some ancestors in Thomas' Legion. My NC people were from around Cherokee County. Pretty lawless place during the war.

PS, while the 3rd TN USA wasn't in any large battle or skirmish for that matter, most of them had been in more than one gunfight with other guerrillas or partisans at one time or another.
