Stan,
The wife and I made a visit to Camp Wildcat last September after a visit to bourbon country and Perryville Battlefield. That's some incredible terrain. I couldn't imagine moving artillery in that mess. The locals were working the day we were there. Hats off to their devotion. They have really made the site an interesting stop. They showed me where some of the Confederates had carved their names in the shear rock face of one of the ravines. I'd have to say that after that trip if I was going to settle somewhere outside of Virginia, Kentucky would be the place.
