OK, let's shoot for this sometime in early 2008. John G., have you officially volunteered to do the legwork of making reservations etc. for this event? If so we will need to see how many of us need make reservations in order to get a conference room or just simply find out what it would cost us to rent such a venue.

I would suggest keeping this simple, to start us off. Maybe have one person give us a presentation and visit the Battlefield, museums and other sites together. Other functions may be discussed as we make progress.

P.S. to Sally, I am not familiar with the clubs in the Vicksburg area. I also would have to pass on checking any out as I don't think my church congregation would approve of their new deacon doing any tonking LOL!

P.S. to Stephen, you were supposed to be there to act as a bodyguard for me. Would it help if I tried talking to your sweetie and begging her on your nehalf? Maybe she will worry over my safety and give in rofl!!!
