Give me a break!
I usually don't post because I'm one who really doesn't lean either way, though my ancestor fought for the Union and died during the war. When I do post it is because of what I perceive as very biased statements, usually from the "southern POV" that totally ignore any Union stances/POVs.
You made a statement...you received responses...you've been asked a question. So quit avoiding the answer. We all klnow what is meant by "lean one way or the other".
So waht you are being asked is for the name or a list of historians who provide and "even handed" treatment of the issues leading up to/causing/etc. the war...with out a bias towards the North nor towards the South, but rather presenting both sides (without personal feelings entering into the analysis).
