I would think that the book is available at your local library.

Frank, I have the book. In fact it's my one favorite volume on the Civil War. Shelby Foote is my favorite series writer but "The Blue And Gray" by Commager is still my favorite one book....since the thread started on Mr. Foote, I'll say that my favorite story he tells, his how he started WW2 as a Captain in the Army and ended it as a Private in the Marines. Right now I'm reading the "Private Diary of Mary Chesnut."
